This card was a thank you to a terrific hostess! I used this sketch from Mojo Monday

I really wanted to use the new stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Very Thankful. This is their charity stamp. In other words some of the proceeds from this set go toward their selected charity which happens to be Ronald McDonald House. I always purchase their charity set whether I really love it (the set) or not.
This year I really love it! Four different styles of a thank you stamp - my kind of stamps!!
I am not really a purple fan - but boy is that a popular color this year - esp. in the clothing line. So I pulled out my Cottage Wall designer paper and created this card with markers. If you don't have markers, think about getting some. They are a fabulous way to add different colors to a solid image stamp. And our markers are refillable!!!
To make the card I used markers on the image to add the variation of color. Otherwise wouldn't it be boring? I put some of our clear rhinestone brads in the buttons and added them to the front. Buttons are also Very Popular right now. I think the brads added a special elegant touch! And to make the slit for the ribbon I used our slit punch. The ribbon, by the way, is the new Rich Razzleberry polka dotted ribbon - but - I turned it over and used the plain side. 2 ribbons in 1!!!
