Touch of Kindness Control Freaks Swap

I keep forgetting to post this card - I have had it waiting for quite a while now! It is my swap card that I made for the Control Freaks Summer Mini Swap.

I chose to use the darling, Touch of Kindness stamp set. It is my kind of set - cats, birds, and coloring.

You know me - I like to give illusions sometimes and this is one of those times. I embossed the background to give the illusion of a flower garden. The bird bath is in the garden, the sun is shining and the kitty is behaving but is he, "thinking of the birds" perhaps?

I used Black Stazon to stamp the images on Watercolor Paper and then used Stampin' Up! Markers to do the coloring. If you haven't tried Black Stazon for watercoloring, you should. It is a nice permanent black!
