I have been noticing alot of seasonal cards this year using musical notes. So I thought I would play around with my Music Notes Wheel to make a background.
I wish Stampin' Up! would make a Musical notes background stamp! I think I will suggest it to them!
Just like yesterday's cards (found HERE), I made two versions: cheap to mail, and the extra postage version.
Cheap to mail version - again, I love the simplicity and the fact that it can stand on its own.
I originally intended for the center to be straight but ended up adhering it at an angle.
And, the extra postage version. I originally had 2 buttons in the corner but I just wasn't loving it so I went with just the one button and a bit of linen thread.
I did end up using the Tea Stain Distressing Ink for some sponged on vintage look.
Stamps: Bells and Boughs, Curly Cute, Music Notes Wheel
Paper: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Well Worn dsp
Ink: Crumb Cake, Tea Stain Distressing Ink, Black Stazon, Garden Green, Riding Hood Red
Other: Aquapainter, button, linen thread, sponge

Love this! I wish they would make a musical background stamp too....I guess they figure they have a wheel already! I would not have thought to use that Well-worn paper for Christmas--brilliant!
Love this one! You could make a faux button with the button die and save the postage.
