Color Challenge

I took on another challenge yesterday. This one is a color challenge, specifically Color Throwdown's Challenge #174. The colors:

The card.
This one is headed to Pennsylvania to my mom. She came down with Shingles. Yikes! I guess it is pretty painful from what she says. But she is on medication which helps. The bad part is my sister in law is pregnant so my mom can't be around her, my brother, or the grandchildren. Hopefully my card will cheer her up.

All supplies are Stampin' Up!

Stamps:       Just Believe, Delightful Dozen
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Pool Party, River Rock
Ink:             Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, River Rock
Other:         Paper Piercer, Sponge, Big Shot, Framed Tulips embossing folder, 2-1/2" circle punch, 1-3/8" circle punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Decorative Label punch, Daffodil Delight and Very Vanilla Button, Mini Library Clip, Color Spritzer Tool

My Online Store.

Thank goodness it is Friday! Have a great day.

Oh, this is beautiful! So sorry to hear about your mom's illness...hope this DOES make her feel better. I have heard that's pretty painful! She'll so appreciate your creativity!

This will definitely bring a smile to her face. So sorry she's sick. Yes I've heard they're incredibly painful. It's the same virus that causes chicken pox, but after you have chicken pox the virus sort of goes to sleep in your nerves. In shingles, something makes it wake up. Anyone who's not had chicken pox can't be around them. Hope she's feeling better very soon!

Gorgeous card Lisa! I'm sure the card will bring a smile to your mom's face! Shingles... ugh! I've had chicken pox twice and terrified of contracting that illness... unfortunately I'm not old enough to have the very expensive shot.. my insurance won't pay for it until you're 62!
