Do you need a quick St. Patrick's Day card? This may help.
I used Whisper White cardstock for the base and added some zigzag stripes made with cardstock and the Tasteful Trim Bigz die. I love the trendy look of Chevron stripes so these zigzags are my spur of the moment substitution.
To make the shamrock I used the Scallop Circle Punch and trimmed it to look like a shamrock. Then I just creased each petal and added a Glimmer Brad to the center. The stem was punched with the Large Oval Punch. Super easy!
I originally stamped the sentiment directly to the cardstock by wouldn't you know it, I stamped it crooked. I had already glued the zigzags so I was not about to start over. Instead, I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of cardstock, punched it out and layered right over my mistake. That is a great way to rescue a project.
By the way - the designer paper is from the Sale-a-bration pack of Everyday Enchantment dsp. It is one of the Free choices with a $50 purchase! And don't forget, Sale-a-bration ends March 31st. It's coming soon!

Super cute!! I love those zig-zags!
Quick, simple, and super cute!! I do most of my sentiments with punches now, because I was forever using punches to cover up a crookedly stamped sentiment. I love my SAMJ, but the trick to that one is.....you have to be able to SEE straight! lol
